At the start of the new millennium the world was freaking out about the Y2K bug that threatened to end the world. The mobile phone no longer resembled a brick and featured 'snake'. Krumping was at the height of its popularity and RNB and Hip Hop were starting to take over the Pop charts. Cars had a CD player that only allowed you to choose from 20 tracks at a time before having to eject it only to have you skim through a 50 sleeve CD wallet for your next track.

2Triple0 (2000) is our premium early 2000's themed throwback event that is part of our Limelight Throwback Series. The inaugural event is set to take place this July in celebration of our most memorable moments from the year 2000 to 2009 music scene. This year we feature a live performance from one of NZ's top artists from the early 2000's- Dei Hamo performing his smash hit 'We gon ride', a Krump battle showcase from world renown Freshmans Dance Crew and NZ's top event DJs, Limelight DJs on the decks playing crowd bangers from the following artists all night long...
